Welcome or welcome back! A new month has arrived, and it’s time to map out this month’s reads. Here is the breakdown.

Echoes of Reckoning by Ron Shaw introduces us to Clay Mitchell, a normal average man who has just died and who’s had quite a few traumas in his life. I started reading this one on April 26. I am about half way through. So far, I am really enjoying this one. I have already cried a few tears. I will have a full review as soon as I have completed this one.

Dying to Date by Sharmyn McGraw. I received this book as a part of the Traveling Indie Author PR Box hosted by MommaD, who is a staunch supporter of indie authors. She can be found on TikTok and Instagram. If you find yourself on those platforms, go follow her. She will definitely keep you up to date on Indie Author news.

The Traveling Indie Author PR box is exactly what it sounds like. You receive a box with a surprise book (Dying to Date, for me), along with some swag. You can take a little of the swag, but your ultimate goal is to read the book, review it, and then pass it on to another reader. Its a great way to help Indie Authors get word out on their books.

Mindscape by Lynn Taylor. This one is a part of another Indie Author promotion. The Indie Author Passport Book Project, started by TA Books (on TikTok and Youtube) is very similar to the one above, but this one, we each place our own sticker (if we are indie authors ourselves) and/or mark the book in some way to show where its been. The goal is the same: read, review, and pass it on. Eventually, the book gets back to the author who now has a fabulous keepsake!

Lights Out by Navessa Allen. I have intended to read this one for so long. Honestly, there are so many that I fear I will never get to, but I won’t stop trying.

I am so excited to get to read this one finally.

Broken Reflections by Ron Shaw is the sequel to Echoes of Reckoning. I intend to get to this one this month as well.

As you can tell from my previous posts, I enjoy helping authors out with beta reading and ARC reading. I typically do not post the beta reviews unless requested to do so, but I always post my ARC reviews. I never charge for this service. Feel free to reach out if you are interested.

I currently have one beta in progress.
