I have come to understand that I am a mood reader. I read nonstop for weeks and months before burning out and taking a break. I am currently in the middle of one of those breaks.
Instead of reading, I have been furiously working on more projects. I currently have four works in progress: two adult contemporary romances, a romantic thriller, and one adult fantasy romance.

The two main ones I have been working on the most is Goddess and Whispers in the Dark.
Goddess, as the title suggests, takes place in a realm of gods and goddesses. You will hear some familiar names, but this is not a retelling of known myths. This is a new story all of its own. This will definitely have some female empowerment involved with a strong female main character, along with some of the more common tropes of ‘he falls first’. I’m really looking forward to sharing this one. I have a playlist created that gives a feel for where this book is heading.
Whispers in the Dark is my romantic thriller with an ex-Swat turned animal rehabilitator male main character, a female main character and her teen running from a controlling, abusive ex. This one does have themes of religious deconstruction, questioning gender roles, and LGBTQ+ representation.
Follow along to for updates on these projects, and others. I promise to get back into the reviews soon. I am prioritizing ARCs at the moment, though. In particular, I have one coming up for K. M. Gordon’s second book in her debut series. I already reviewed her debut novel Whispers of the Elderoak. I’m very much looking forward to her second in the series Journey to the Elderoak.
